Technology and industry have taken the arts to the next level, has your Risk Management plan kept up?

Our Mission

Production work and studio art carry with it many of the same hazards and risks often associated with many industrial industries. These risks and hazards are often overlooked when it comes to the art world.  Tight budgets and deadlines, unusual venues and work environments, increasing demand and decreasing resources all combined with a student or new worker element can lead to dangerous and risky situations that often go unnoticed until a problem occurs.  Our mission is to provide scaleable, adaptable, and comprehensive risk management assessments and training geared specifically to the theatre and studio art industries.

Jessie has brought an impressive background in project management to the Hop - particularly in the area of jobsite safety. She has been a leader in initiating a relationship with Dartmouth EHS regarding our life safety and fall-arrest systems in our venues. She has taken complete ownership of this initiative and has made impressive improvements to our systems and great steps in identifying and abating safety concerns.
